Hello!
We are from school "Sf. Dumitru" (nr. 33) in Galati-Romania.Our school is situated in one of the districts of our town.The district has about 40.000 inhabitants. 830 students attend our school. There is a big Iron & Steel Works not far from our city so we are concerned about our environment. Our students have been involved in an European project about recycling materials. There is a pine in front of our school which has become the symbol of our school.The teachers of Biology from our school have are very active in organising activities dedicated to the protection of our environment. There is a team called "The Pine Buds", which is involved in many ecological activities in our school and district. Many students write articles about the environment in our school magazine. We are going to present you some photos showing aspects from our activities.
